I make a mopz transaction to upgrade the Solution Manager to 7.1.

In Solmanup, when i upgrade it stops with error:

The following CRTs of the Add-On "ST" rel."710" must be included as well:

CRT "SAPKITL709" for Support Package "SAPKB70213" of software component "SAP_BASIS" rel."702"

Download DVD 51045452 it contains all the stack to take your system to SPS08AVA .

Right now SAPKITL709 has not been released.

Hello

how safe is it to go with this option ?

WARNING: For the following components you have not selected

enough support packages to reach the patch level that

is equivalent to the package level on the start release:

WARNING: SAP_ABA - selected package level is 12, equivalence level is 13

WARNING: SAP_BASIS - selected package level is 12, equivalence level is 13

WARNING: PI_BASIS - selected package level is 12, equivalence level is 13

WARNING: SAP_BW - selected package level is 12, equivalence level is 13

WARNING: WEBCUIF - selected package level is 9, equivalence level is 10

WARNING: CPRXRPM - selected package level is 8, equivalence level is 10

To avoid loss of data it is recommended to include

at least the package levels equivalent to the start

release levels.

Hello Kumar,

I have SPS 13 on 701 => sapkb7013 - EQUIVALENT SAP_BASIS,702:SAPKB70213.

The equivalent on sapkb70213 needs a CRT (sapkitl709) which is not yet released and with lower

packages it warns me about possible data loss.

Dear Robert,

Thank you very much for the update. I will summarize all the information in this reply.

You have the source SAP_BASIS 701 SP13 (SAPKB70113). Target level equivalence is SAP_BASIS 702 SP13. So you need to include this package in the upgrade. You must not continue without this package.

But the problem is that if you include this package in the upgrade then you will need CRT SAPKITL709 which is not yet released to the customers.

So at the moment I do not see any way to continue the upgrade. You will have to wait for the Solution Manager 7.1 SPS13 to be released to the customer. You can only continue once the SPS13 is released.

It is not safe to ignore the equivalence level.

There could be data loss if you upgrade the system without meeting the equivalence level.

Gaurav

This is very strange to publish SP that you are not able to install because they are not released.

Looks like developers are joking.

The issue is the other components have a pre-req for the SP09  CRT (aka the ST component), some special case customers have been provided with the SP09 SP.

Also SP09 will not be released to the general public as SAP is providing us with SP10 which is scheduled to be released around the same time as TechEd in Vegas in late October.

@Robert, can you also verify the ST component in your upgrade tool?  Is it set to SP 08 or is it trying to load SP 09?

Dear Robert,

SAPKITL709 is not released yet to the customers. SAP recommends to apply the Support Package Stacks so the dependent packages are available.

SAPKITL709 is part of the Solution Manager 710 SPS09. SPS09 is not released yet so SAPKITL709 will be available to the customer when the SPS09 is released. You can check the schedule of the support package stacks in the Service Marketplace.

I hope it helps.

Hi,

Seems the mentioned CRT not released yet. SAPKITL708 available mid of Feb on, Include CRT SAPKIT708 go for SAP BASIS SP12

Or you can go with SAP_BASIS SP11 too.

you can change in the upgrade steps.

Please check,

Thanks

Hello,

i try to put SP 12 or SP 11 at SAP_BASIS and SAP_ABAP but then the level is too low:

I think i need to generate a new xml stack file.
