Adobe designer Layout error

Hello Experts,

I am working on SAP adobe form designer (Tcode: SFP). But when I open any adobe form and click on Layout tab, the following error message appear:

Could not start Layout Designer (see long text)

Under long text:

Message no. FPUIFB086

Diagnosis

The forms design tool for developing the form layout could not be started;
either it is not installed or there are errors in the installation.

Procedure

Make sure that you have the forms design tool installed on your desktop (the
tool is part of the SAPGUI installation).

Also read SAP Note 1121176.

I am working on SAP ECC 6.0, SAP_APPL 605 0008, SAP_BASIS 702 0011, SAP_ABA 702 0011, ECC-DIMP 605 0008.

I tried to install Adove Livecycle designer 7.0, 8.0, 8.1 and 8.2. But I am not able to install any one of it. At the time of installation the following message appear:

This sap front-end patch cannot be applied. Either the installed components are already on the same patchlevel or the componentss to be patched are not yet installed at all.

Is any other patch is required to be installed on my machine.

Kindly suggest.

Hi Ankur,

Check your SAP GUI patch level and make sure that it is as mentioned in note

For developing forms in AS ABAP, you need following SAP GUI patch (SAP Note 864634):

SAP GUI 620 Patch level 56 or higher
SAP GUI 640 Patch level 12 or higher
SAP GUI 710 any patch level
SAP GUI 720 any patch level

Also check for ADS config

Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.0 can be used with the following ADS versions:

SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SP-14 (or higher)
SAP EhP1 for NetWeaver 7.0
SAP NetWeaver 7.1 SP-4 (or higher)
SAP NetWeaver 7.1 CE SP-3 (or higher)
