Hi experts,
I am trying to configure job scheduling using CPS. I have configured CPS and I am able to schedule and monitor jobs from it but when I go to the job scheduling tab in solman_workcenter I am facing below issues
i. When I create a job request, the product system data is not proper. The installation number is 0000 is one system and the client is some alphanumeric value in the other.
ii. When I try scheduling a job using schedule job option, both the test of trusted and TMW RFCs end up in error. When I check the same in sm59 both seem to be working fine.
Kurztext Error Diagnose BC-XBP interface communication error. Vorgehen Contact your system administrator. Check your BC-XBP authorization (example: Role SAP_BC_REDWOOD_COMMUNICATION). Check the RFC connection to the satellite system, with transaction SM59. Check the entries in the application log, with transaction SLG1. Check the XMI log in the satellite system.
We are on solman 7.1 SPS06. Is there something I am missing?
Regards!
Rahul

Hello,
the XBP interface is being used to schedule a job directly into an SAP system.
the SMSE interface (Solution Manager Scheduling Enabler, a.k.a BAE, CPS interface) isbeing used to schedule/monitor SAP CPS jobs.
SAP Note 1729766 "CPS - Solution Manager integration setup" describes how to setup the Solution Manager - SAP CPS integration.
Afterwards you will be able to schedule job in SAP CPS from Solution Manager and to monitor SAP CPS jobs from Solution Manager.
