Honeywell scanner and Function Keys

I have a couple questions. I have a report that has buttons on the screen.  When executing in SAP where I have a large screen I use the entire screen. When executing from the small window of the scanner, I want to format my screen differently. 

Is there a way to shrink the screen for the  scanner?

How do I map the function keys on the Motorola scanner?
