Automatic batch not appear in sales order

HI all,

I have created sales order for 3 material belong to same sales area.

I have activated the automatic batch in material master.

2 material have created batch number one material doesnt create batch number in sales order.

can you please assist what could be the cause, what assignment i need to get batch number for that material.

Hi All,

Thanks for the valuable input, my client updated dummy batch through customized batch program.

Now i resolved this issue with the help of Technical team.

Hi Karthikeyan,

Could you please check the Item category of the 3rd Item in sales oder and see whether Automatic Batch has been activated for that Item category or not.

Hi sai,

This is not activated for automatic batch.

But all material belongs to same Item category. Even though its appearing for other 2 material.

Can you check whether material has classification maintained for the batches and also check MSC2n for the batch and material.

HI sai,

This i have checked and maintained in MSC1 for dummy batch.

And assigned classification 023 batch.

But still this issue not resolved.
