Valuation area?

Dear Gurus,

While creation equipment i am getting " No Valuation is assigned for the Plant". I went to assign valuation area and assigned the same but its now displaying    "Make sure that the plant was specified correctly. If it was, the missing data must be maintained in Customizing."

so please help me in the issue. Thanks in advance.

I think, Plant definition / copy has been done wrongly. You may have to copy it again.

Check the assignment of plant to company code.

Check the settings in OX14.

As advised by   please check in OX14 if the valuation area is at plant level.

Next confirm in table T001W for the linkage between plant and valuation area. Also if Business Area is configured, please cross check OMJ7.
