Message No FI171: Fund in FM area is not valid for 2013

Hi:

I have transported FM configuration to QAS and after being done with the master data upload and all other settings when i am trying to post budget in FMBB for combination Funds/Fund center/Commitment item i am getting the error mentioned above. I have checked OSS note Note 583539 - Error FI171: Fund in FM area is not valid but it does not help me to solve problem. We are on release EA-PS 605. We are using year independent master data.

Hi Atif

Cross check the below SPRO settings once again and confirm if any deviation.

1. Fiscal year for activate Global functions for budgeting'

2. To Fiscal Year for 'Allow BLANK as Value for Account Assignment Elements'

3. Fund validity period

Hi Rao:

Thanks for your reply. Mistake has already been identified , Fund master validity to period was set erroneously as 31.12.1999 instead of 31.12.9999 in LSMW upload sheet. .
