Not able to start SAP instance

Hi

I have  started database and listener for one of the servers and start sap but when i run

ps -ef | grep sap

it shows only 2 sap process and it not coming up.

I checked Select status from v$instance

It shows open status.

What shuld i do to make system or sap instance started

Kindly advice.

Can you execute R3trans -d and see if the return code is 0000

If not, paste the output.

Hi

I think i can close this ticket now as the issue has been resolved.

For this we have to delete the bkgrnd jobs scheduled as it was a sandbox server and restored one server's bkup to it.

Hi Swati,

  Please login in as sidadm and execute startsap all and see whether it starts or not.

If not, please attach dev_w0 log for further analysis.
