Hey Experts,
We have configured the supplier qualification process in SRM on SRM 7 EhP2
Customizing switch SRM_701_SUCO_SUP_REG is already activated
When trying to register a supplier using the WebDYnpro application wda_e_suco_sreg, We are getting the following error message:
"An error occurred in the PD layer; transaction terminated"
Thanks in advance for helping us out.
Regards..!
We faced the same issue recently and it was found that it caused due to the Vendor Number Range. SAP is trying to create a BP which already exists in the system so we have to rectify the number range to resolve the issue.
Thanks

Hello Nishant,
You have configured the WebDynpro Application in the SICF tree, also you hace assigned a user to it.
The user must have appropriate roles to make WD works, and the PD layer error should be related to a wrong profile generation.
Please get into the role assigned to (standard /SAPSRM/SUCO_ANON_REG) and create the profile and make sure that all necessary authorization on it are correctly active. Then compare user master to update this service user with the appropriate profile.
Hope it helps,
Reward points if useful.
