Hi experts,
We have a need to track free goods items raised in sales orders.
This is in order to indicate to business how much free goods has been issued with regards to a project.
We would therefore like to have a WBS code associated with free goods line items.
My idea is to somehow attach the WBS code to the item category for free goods, which is TANN.
Is this a viable solution?
If then how to do the config.
Thanks and Regards
Deepankar
If your company is not project sales company, I would suggest to go for Internal Ordersto track cost instead of relying on WBS.
Thanks, JP

Can you confirm whether this for booking cost is associated to one particular seller group/marketing group? Or this also involves monitoring of inventory allocated to the project?
If former is the case that then Internal Orders should be helpful. And for later a WBS in Sales Project can be helpful.
