Hi friends ,
If my specification is having 1 decimal place then dring RR I can reocrd results upto 2 deciaml places . What I want is system should not allow to enter more than 1 decimal places in RR column . for example if :
specificaiton = greater than 1.0 and less than 3.0
and RR entered is : 1.3
then on pressing enter system is taking it as 1.30 and under original value column its showing 1.3
but what I want is 1.3 under RR colmn also .
Please help
Hi,
Please check in SPRO>QM>Basic Settings>Maintain Settings at Plant Level>Result Recording tab>Additional decimal places=1
Make it 0 and try in RR.

Hi Tanuj ,
It worked perfectly but while makeing decimal as 0 and MessageCat.Decimal Places = Error . System is asking me to enter :
1. Sample Start Value
2. Phys Sample Interval
I have entered 1 in both the columns for testing purpose . Can you please explain the use of above two fields or effect of entering 1 in both columns .
Regards
They are simply required fields for your plant for using physical samples.
You don't need to worry about them unless you are using physical samples.
It's like setting up the incremental line numbers for a task list... a starting value, usually 10 along with and incremental interval of 10, so your line numbers are 10, 20, 30, 40, 50,.. etc...
