File to File, Mail (5 mins delay)

Hi experts,

    We have a scenario File - File, Mail. In which, after file is picked and sent successfully. Mail needs to be triggered for business people for which we have mantained two receivers in ICo ( for file and mail ) and checked maintained order at run time.

    The scenario is working fine and mail is triggering after file is placed successfully.

    But the issue is, the mail is not triggering as soon as file is placed. Its triggering exactly after 5 mins.

    Experts, kindly help on this.

Kindly get the mail server performance checked by Basis.

Generally this should not happen. Is there any sort of batch job which is impacting the mail server to send mails?

Also check in AE the time of start and time of close for the mail adapter. This will help in checking out the issues if the messages are getting stuck in AE or some problem with Mail server.
