"Display range" vs. "Structure Scope"

Can anyone clarify the different between the two

Display Range - sales order customizaton control (Transaction Flow

Structure Scope - item category customization control (Bill of Material / Configuration)

To me both seem to control whether BOM's sub-items are displayed (=exploded) or not.

Hi,

Display range in sales order controls how you want to display the dependant line items. for e.g. If you select UHAU and try to create the order with item which has free goods, system will not display the free goods item. However, the functionality remains same.

Structure scope is purely related to BOM.
