Alert Long Text as a XXXX.html Attachement

Hi Experts,

I need to get the long text of an alert category a XXXX.html attachement in my eMail.

Please suggest me how to achive this.

Right now I am getting this text as an email body.

Here my intesion is that I need get the Long Text as TABLE Format either in the Body of eMail or i Attachment.

I have seen and used a long ago to get XML attachement in my Alert emai.

How to get the same as XXXX.html file?  Because when I open that attachment then it execute a html script and gives the Long Text as table format.

IMO, there is no standard mechanism to generate html format data in the alert functionality. Moreover if the user gets mail say using microsoft outlook then the mail cannot display your html code directly.  You can search SCN for sending as attachment. There are some threads discussion on the same.
