Hi,

I have a case:

What if I have a new android devices and try to enroll it by using Afaria Self-Service portal:

1. I can get enrollment code on SSP

2. SSP says :go to Google Play by using app or internet. Problem is here. How can I get afaria client apk files without register google play? I ask it bec I will deploy afaria more than 500 devices.

I can download apk file from another markets but sometimes devices can be set as disabled install apk files from unknown source.

Have you any trick about that?

If you don't want to have to register Google accounts with all your devices then you can use an alternative Android app store such as 1mobile.

Try this URL from your Android device : http://www.1mobile.com/search.php?keywords=afaria

I discovered you also need to use an alternate store when using less popular Android devices, such as the Ruggadised Casio VT-500 I am evaluating at the moment. Because Google Play store excludes these devices!

You can if you modify the SSP code pointed at by the URL. (However I have never tried this).

Alternatively give users a 1mobile URL to download Afaria first, then use SSP for just an enabling code.

I've searched SSP codes. but there is  nothing about simple html code. It beats me
I choose pre-install afaria client first.
