BPA - Cannot generate and activate monitoring object

Hello,

I am trying to setup business process analytics within our solution manager 7.1 SP Stack 7.

After creating a monitoring-object under the logical component (ECC system) I wanted to generate and then activate this object.

But when I click the generate button nothing happens. The status is still initial (not generated) and no message is shown.

Anybody here can help me with this issue?

Do you already implemented some of the important SAP Notes for Analytics ?

SAP Note 1759233 introduces important SAP Notes for Analytics'also BPO Dashboard).

I recommend you to check and implement missing notes.

If you are SP7, following notes are important. So I recommend try to implement following notes.

(Note 1761039 sympton 24 looks relevant. So better to try Note 1761039.

Hi Keiji

Thanks for your answer, but unfortunately the problem still exists. The notes are implemented, but I cannot generate a monitoring object. When I try to activate the monitoring object a message tell me, that it is not generated and could not be activated because of this issue.

Any other ideas?

What kind of message do you get ?

Following a message what you get ?

"that it is not generated and could not be activated because of this issue"

Do you see any application log in transaction SLG1.

Search object "SOLAR". / Subobject BPMON*

Please also make sure, READ RFC connection is working to your managed system.

BPM_LOCAL_RFC is defined

Hi,

when I click on generate no message appears. When I click on Activate the following message appears:

Monitoring-Konfiguration für "Sales Documents" nicht generiert: keine Aktivierung

Meldungsnr. DSWP_BPMO051

I can see the same message in SLG1 accordingly.

Rhe READ RFC seems to be ok and another RFC named "BPM_LOCAL_001" is defined.

Thank you for the additional information.

Does your system upgraded before SolMan7.1 SP5 ? Or new installation ?

Consistency Check program described in Note1761039 (Program  RDSWP_BPM_REPAIR_MON_OBJECTS   ) bring any error ?

If your SolMan is new installation, and program RDSWP_BPM_REPAIR_MON_OBJECTS,

does not bring any error data, I recommend you to create SAP customer message under the component SV-SMG-MON-BPM.

Hi Keiji,

it was a fresh injstallation to Solman 7.1 SP5. After that I did an upgrade to SP7.

The report shows the following result:

Report RDSWP_BPM_REPAIR_MON_OBJECTS

The result looks ok.

Since there is nothing I can think of anymore (need remote investigation), please create SAP OSS message as I mentioned.

From SAP customer message, SAP support consultant can analyze the issue thorugh remote connection. So please create the message.
