Clarification on Contract Generator

Hello Everyone,

I have read the installation document and understood contract generator has to be installed on a separate physical server.

My doubt is, is it possible to install contract generator on same server where sourcing also resides? provided if there is hardware capacity to support.

As of SAP Sourcing wave 10.0, and probably also as SP for 7.0 and 9.0, a separate server is no longer required to perform contract generation.

thanks for the answer, it is correct that this feature will be available in 10.0...There are no plans as of today to downport to 7.0 and 9.0

Hi Barani,

no that is not possible, since contract generation requires a Microsoft Word Server whereas Sourcing and CLM are installed on a Java Web Application server i.e. NetWeaver Java 7.30.
