Profile parametrs change after Data refresh

Former Member

Dear  Experts,

We have had a data refresh from Production to Quality Server. After that we import Quality profile by clicking Import profiles from RZ10 in QAS. We noticed, the  values for parameters in  instance profile in QAS has changed.

Does this normal behaviour after data refresh. From T-code TU02, Table-> PAHI & TPFHT, showing changes. Please advice.

Thanks

Sumit

Hi Sumit,

Profile parameters do not change due to system refresh activities. Someone might have changed the values on OS Level and saved it. When you imported the latest active profile in RZ10, it has picked those values and hence you are seeing the difference.

  Hi Deepak,

If this is a case with couple of parametrers, i can convince. But it has almost all parametres.

That's a issue....

Dear Sumit

This is purely due to the import of the profiles from quality server.

Just cross check the values updated is relevent in quality server, then nothing to worry ..

    Dear Shahnas,

Parametrs values was not relevant, For eg:-

login/disable_multi_gui_login  is 0, but it should be 1

Our mistake is that we missed to take screenshot of profile parameters from SAP level before Export-import.

Go to the profile in os level  and check the values for this

If it is modified earlier from sap User-id will be there,,just check and confirm whether it was modified earlier in quality

Hi Sumit,

How have you performed system refresh ?

Is it by export /import or by backup/restore ?

Hello Sumit,

Whenever the parameter is changed, the old profile file will be saved with a extension *.bak. please check at os level if you find the file *.bak and check if that file has the required parameter values.

Thanks,
