Strange behaviour of Multiple selection in MII 12.2.3 -Grid

Hi  Experts,

     I'm using MII version 12.2.3 build 182.  My Grid has multiple items in it.

Step :1

i'm trying to select first 3 rows by holding CTRL key +Clicking on first item + dragging till 3 rd item (similar to Excel drag ).

Step2 : Trying to select  last 2 items along with previous item selected.

Kept on holding CTRL key , trying to select the last 2 items .

Item selected in step 1 vanished it should not be the case.

In version 12.0.5 Build 126 i can see step 1 & step 2 items as below .

Note : i dont want to select items one by one . Need to use CTRL drag .

Display template properties are below,

UI behaviour for both the version are same. why this difference?  Kindly share your thought on this.

It would appear that either you have a bug and need to log a support ticket, or you may be moving the mouse just enough that it detects a second click/drag effect which starts all over with the row selection. 12.2.5 also appears to be the latest version.
