Route depending on material in STO

Hi All,

I need to determine route  based on material in stock transport order.

Could you please let me know how do I fullfil this requirement.

Hi,

If needed, you can differentiate Route determination for the Materials based on the transportation group.

btw, why do you need route to be determined based on Material. Anyways, other than Transportation group i dnt thnk there is any standard way to achieve this.

You may have to use Custom development. Please check if something can be done in MV50AFZ1

Thanks for your reply.We tried through Transportation group but delivery is splitting in certain customized secnarios.I willl try with MVAFZ1.

I believe your initial query was how to determine route based on material.

But now seems you are talking about Delivery splitting.

Hi Praveen,

In case your requirement is still open and waiting to be implemented, I would suggest you look at implementing the user exit listed under OSS Note: 303453.

This note precisely talks about overwriting the SAP standard determined route  on an STO based on the following parameters in the STO.

Issuing plant (LLWERK)

Goods recipient (LKUNWE)

Material (LMATNR)

Fields of the internal table FEKPV - This is nothing but the S'hipping Data Tab' information.

Hi,

Route is determined based on Country and departure zone of the shipping point,Shipping condition from the sales order,Transportation group from the material master record and Country and transportation zone of the ship-to party.
