While capturing excise invoice in MIGO, part 1 is not updating

Dear All,

I am posting a material doc. in that i have captured excise. I put the qty 1.390 but in RG23C part 1 register it is updating with qty 1 instead of 1.390.

Please suggest.

Hi,

Check if excise qty is updated as 1.390 in J_1IEXCDTL table.

If not then you have captured EI only for 1 Qty and the same will be updated in J_1IPART1 table.

In table J_1IEXCDTL excise invoice qty is 1.390 but in J_1IPART1 it is showing 1.

In J_1IGRXREF table what is the qty updated?

Check it once. If excise is captured in MIGO then all the three tables J_1IEXCDTL J_1IGRXREF and

J_1IPART1 will and should have same qty.

J_1IGRXREF and J_1IPART1 showing one qty.

J_1IEXCDTL is showing as below

1. qty in excise invoice 1.390

2. goods received qty   1

3. remaining                   0.390

Hi Lokesh,

Then after capturing Ei during Gr you have changed the qty.

So till you do GR for full qty, you cannot post excise invoice.

You can cancel GR and redo the same again by referring excise so that correct qty flows.

If you have made GR for full qty thenhow can both part1 and grxref tables get updated incorrectly.

This cannot happen.

part1 and grxref tables have same qty ie "1" but in table excdtl it have different qty ie 1.390

so actually 1.390 qty should be update in table part1 and grxref

It looks like this is something related to rounding issue. can you try another PO with more than 1.5 and then try posting it, it should post to 2, rounding up or 1 as rounding down.
