Hi,
We are making initial entry of some material data, as we are started go-live phase.
We want to make back-dated entry for initial stage. Can we set System Date back-dated ?.

I agree with Ammey,
changing system data in a SAP system is looking for trouble.
You are trying to fix a functional issue with a bad Basis fix.
Ask your functionals to sort this out themselves.

Please think of some different work around. Probably you could take help of ABAPer's
Do not back-date the system. The results could be dangerious.
