Reg: PI Implementation

Hi Experts,

           We having plan to PI Implementation, Already we having ECC6.0 EhP5, EP 7.2, SolMan7.01, is running next plan to PI implementation,

which configuration is required PI to EhP5, EP adn Solman, Pls explan.

Hi,

You can look out for the PI 7.31 latest version of PI which can support different versions of other systems afaik..

             But My existing server is ECC6.0 ehp5 Netweaver 7.02 Level Release 13, Portal also 7.02 Level Release13. Then How will go for PI7.3. same PI702 Release 13 is required or not pls explain.

It wont be straight forward decision that you can go ahead with up-gradation plan. SAP has separate up-gradation strategy for ECC and PI.

Though technically it would be shifting on new version, lots of other key engagement points need to be considered before taking decision, along with ECC and PI version.

Analyse your existing landscape, type of interfaces, BPM involvement and third party systems dependencies.
