Error while getting Plants from R/3

Former Member

Hi Guys,

I am replicating plants from R/3. I had run the report BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_ALL. In the application Log I am getting the following messages:

1. Error Creating Location Plant: AMBK System: K77CLNT801

2. Enter country

What does the above message means? Where I need to enter the country?

When I go to extended attributes in the locations tab....on selecting the source system as R/3, the plant field is empty. I am getting the default plant 001 (defined by SAP).

Steps I have followed.

1. Created a logical system and assign that logical system to client.

2. Created a RFC Connection to backend system.

3. Created Distribution model for sending IDoc to backend with message types ACC_GOODS_MOVEMENT, ACLPAY, BBPCO, BBPIV, and MBGMCR.

4. Created a RFC from backend to SRM

5. Model was copied to backend system and inbound and outbound parameters are created successfully.

6. Defined the backend system

Please I need some suggestions from you.

Thanks and regards

Apparao.A

Hi

Thanks for sending the details.

<u>I noticed few points -> Please try out them -></u>

<b>1) regions are not same. (33 and 30)

2) try maintaining Country codes, city codes for the plant as well in R/3 system in this 'RPR' plant case, and then try

3) Maintain country codes both in srm and r/3. fill all data for india (country code, city code). check the entries (countries, regions, region codes, etc in sRM as well as R/3 Database tables - T005, T005S, T005T, T005U, T005Z, T005ZT etc)

4) Finally, if nothing works, Try replication for some other plant for countries say USA, UK ,etc...</b>

Hope this will help.

Please reward full points, incase it suits your requirements.

Hi

The RFC user which is executing this report must have same password in both the systems as well as SAP_ALL Profile paramaters in the role.

Also check whether the configuartion data in R/3 system for the plant is correctly maintained.

<b>Note ->

Replication of MM plant to the SRM location (business partner location) occurs in one direction with a report that is executed manually (like in mySAP SRM): BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_FROM_SYSTEM</b>

Hope this will help.

Hi Atul,

Thanks for your help. I have check both the system SRM and R/3. The RFC User has SAP_All and SAP_New profile.

I have tried with the BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_FROM_SYSTEM. I am getting simalar error only. <b>" Enter country "</b>

I have checked the Configuration data in R/3. Country key is maintained in R/3 also.

Hi

Before running the report in sRM system ->

1) Plant data must have country maintained in R/3 system, before running the report. Check in your RFC connection in logon tab user and his logon language (on SRM and R/3 must be the same eg. EN, DE, etc)

2) <b>Refer to OSS Note 563180 - Locations - Replication of R/3 plants</b>

3) Check also plant data, and Customization Plant in OX10 (fields Language Key and Country Key) - in R/3 system

Hope this will help.

Please reward suitable points.

Hi Atul,

I have tried with this report also. BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_SELECTED with single plant but i am getting same error.

Error Creating Location Plant: RPR System: K77CLNT801

I have Edited all the fields of Plant RPR and saved.

Still the problem exits.

HI Ramki,

Thanks for your reply. But i am unable to solve the issue. I have checked the region in both of the system SRM and R/3. Same Region exists in both system.

I have checked the RFC Connection also. from both system the connection is fine.
