Control on Means of Transport on SNC supplier view ?

SNC has provided mean of transport as editable option in Supplier view & non-editable in customer view

Client requirement is exactly otherway round where as the business logic is buyer can control early shipment & whenever they need early shipment then buyer can change it to expedite shipment

Hi,

I think Buyer want to have control on shipment receiving. In this case, open that field in SNC through webdynapro GUI and make sure you are updating EKES table and Inbound delivery table - LIPS parallelly . Make sure to have consistency ECC and SAP in this case.

Important thing is the information should be reached to Supplier in advance through alert management. Looks bit challenging.

Hi Pankaj,

This is a standard behavior as you mentioned.  Buyer can always use notes or Micrblog to communicate this right.

If you Client(Buyer) wants to change the MoT after the ASN is posted/ Shipment has ben posted then it going to become a manual process.
