While doing PGI, we get the following error:

Account XXX requires assssignment to CO object..

Pls clarify

Hello,

Your problem is related to your COGS account XXX not being defined in the OKB9 table. Use the T-code OKB9.

could you please explain in a bit detail what is the significance of that error?

how to avoid getting that error again for various materials?

does it have anything to do with vaulation class to profit center mapping?

In the Okb9 transaction you have to assign your plant to what ever G/L is giving then do the transaction.
