Does MIGO w.r.t PO & not I/B delivery create proof of delivery in SNC ?

Existing Client Scenario : -

Once PO confirmation is done, Supplier creates ASN against which inbound delivery is created in ECC but neither buyer nor receiving dept are really bothered to check it whether supplier has created an ASN or not. When goods are physically received at delivery location, at that time receiving dept post GR for those goods with reference to PO (MIGO w.r.t PO)

In the nutshell,

MIGO is done independent of I/B delivery by referring PO because of which all I/B deliveries are not closed within ECC -----

Now we are implementing SNC, if client would like to follow the same way then questions are :-

Q1) Will MIGO with reference to PO create proof of delivery in SNC & update ASN status ?

Q2) What will be impact of all I/B deliveries remain open in ECC ?

Appreciate your quick response

Hi,

Implement BADI in MIGO programme where in check confirmation control table of PO, if confirmation control available in EKES table for particular line item, allow MIGO through inbound delivery for that line item. It will make user to utilize the option of Goods receipt with ref to inbound delivery.
