SAP GRC Access Control - Function approval workflow notification

Dear all.

We have activated WF for Function approval workflow validation. We are wondering

• How the approver knows which modifications is proposing requester?
• Is this information marked into the request?
• Could it be possible to activate the Comments Mandatory at task settings in stage 5 for the requester?

Hello,

In a nutshell;

The approver would be notified within the request what the proposed changes are. Have you actually tested the workflow and seen the resulting content of the requests created and submitted?  I know that the data representation is not to everyone's taste.

It is possible to activate the comments mandatory at the task setting, but it would only be applicable to the person approving at that specific stage. Why would you want a requester to add comments into the request after submission?

If you have this workflow set up in your Development system, test it out and see if your business would accept this approval mechanism.
