Incoming Certificate - posting from QI to unrestricted allowed via QA11 despite CTCM status

We have QM in procurement active for incoming materials, and our control key requires certificate receipt.  Certificates are processed separately from the GR here, so we are using QC55 only.

The issue we are facing is that we can still post a 321 movement (QI to unrestricted) via the Inspection Lot Stock Tab in QA11 even though the inspection lot has a status of CTCM.  The CTCM status prevents applying a UD code, but the user can go to the inspection lot stock tab and enter the quantity directly in the field for posting to unrestricted stock.  After saving the transaction, a search of MB51 confirms that 321 movement has taken place and stock is unrestricted.

Is it possible to prevent the transfer posting in the same way it prevents the UD code from being entered?

FYI the configuration settings:

Control Key: Cert. required

Certificate Type:

Cert. for each PO item

Cert for per GR item

Control w/o cert: E (have also tried B)

Enhanced Cert processing

No cert confirmation at GR

Hi,

This is the standard behaviour of SAP.Without giving the UD code we can do any stock posting.

To overccome this we have made the UD code field as mandatory through a screen variant.

Unless a UD code is given in the first screen you will not be able to go to the stock posting tab.

This workaround is working fine for our requirements.
