SAP TAO Error

SAP TAO 2.0 and SolMan 7.1 SP5/Managed System ERP 4.7

Trying to associate a TBOM to Solution Manager Project and receiving the following error:

an error occurred in the SAP Solution Manager system while verifying whether a logical component is supported

I am not firm with TAO but the error message points to a problem with the logical component the 4.7 system is maintained in. Check the system/client assignment.. Ensure that the system/client specified in SAP TAO does match the logical component/system/client specified in solman (SOLAR02).

Hi Richard,

Thanks for the reply.  I did see that if the logical compoent is a genaric one (meaning not one of mine), the user is allowed to attempt to sync with Solution Manager, howeve, when I change it to my actual 4.7 logical component in SOLAR02, that is when I'm no longer allowed to even try to associate to a t-code.  I've tried to find a compatibility matrix, but all the links on SAP's site so far have been dead links.
