Not able to find the sapinst.exe file in the IDES EHP6 Setup

Hello Experts,

I had downloaded the setup of SAP ERP 6.0 EHP6 ORACLE - 38.55 GB from the net.

After downloading of files i had extracted the files.

And it contents the

Files in the distribution:

51044815 BD IDES SAP ERP 6.0 EHP6 Inst. Export

51041992 SAP ERP 6.0 EHP6 Components

In this Files distribution there is no "sapinst.exe" file from which i can start a setup.

Is there any problem with the setup/is there any other way to install the setup.

IDES is not freeware, IDES is and Industry Demo System and its not for free distribution.

You have downloaded part of a pirate version of SAP IDES.

Downloading and distributing pirate software is against the law.

If you need access to IDES you need to contact your SAP Account Manager.

Hi,

Please make sure that you have downloaded the following DVD's based on your system Bit.

51042263_12

BS7i2011 Installation Master Windows Server on IA64 64bit

51042263_13

BS7i2011 Installation Master Windows Server on x64 64bit

You should be able to see the sapinst.exe in the file.

These 2 DVD's are for EHP6 export and ERP components. There is no DVD for installation. Please download installation master DVD.

I had downloaded the files for which i had provided the link above.

You are right about that

"51044815 BD IDES SAP ERP 6.0 EHP6 Inst. Export" contains Export files from export 1 to export 11 and in "51041992 SAP ERP 6.0 EHP6 Components" there are components installation file like for Cprojects,SEM,SRM,etc.

In Addition,weather I had to download the files which are shown in this link "http://www.anydl.org/software/362091-sap-erp-60-ehp6-oracle-x64.html"

Hi,

As Juan said, you SHOULDN't download the copies of the IDES .

you have to get a appropriate license and download the software from the Service Market place of SAP.

Secondly you also need the s user id to generate a license to use the SAP Software.

So better contact SAP and download a licensed version.

As Juan said above, IDES is not freeware. IDES installation is same as you install other systems. So, please follow installation guide.

We cannot suggest you for pirated versions.
