Project Number range and coding mask

Hi All,

I am new to project system. I am an SD consultant but have few requirement in PS. I did search forum and google but did not get an answer.

How can I change the number range of project. Currently project is starting with PR0001. Please let me know where can I create new number range and where to assign it. Also I am not abl;e to under stand the logic of coding mask. Please help.

Hi Aditya

use T code OPSJ to change number range  of  coding mask

Changing Coding mask would affect the projects created by using that coding mask , so better way is to create new Coding mask

Appreciate that you searched the forum as well as googled your query. I guess you did not try to go through SAP Help for PS module.

Refer it. It has got all detailed information. Just to get you started, check tcodes OPSJ and OPSK.

I always refer SAP help. I did even go through PLM200,210,220,230. But was bit confused regarding coding mask. Thank you for the reply. I will explore the same.
