Hi,

While creating a new change document under a change request in Solman, the task list is not getting assigned. But the other transaction types under the same parent Change Request are working fine. Which configuration needs be checked to correct this issue? Please see the screen shots given below. Please check the related transactions section in both the screen shots..

Transaction type with this issue

Transaction type which is working fine & belonging to the same Change Request

Prasanth

Hello Prasanth,

Did you check authorizations for user ?

1. You are not authorized to create a task list in SAP Change Manager.

2. You are not authorized to activate a task list in SAP Change

Manager.

3. The system landscape in SAP Solution Manager has changed and the task

list is obsolete.

4. The task list has been closed in SAP Change Manager.

Also run solar_project_admin  choose proper project than click 'System landscape' tab and 'change Management' check if you have task list assigned to project.

You can also analize App. log for project to find out what`s missing or wrong.

Hi,

The user is having all the authorizations and is able to create task list for other documents type under the same change request. We have defined the task list at a project level and all the transaction types are linked to the same project.

Also, the user was able to do this for few days. Some configuration related to this particular transaction type might have changed and we're not able to locate that.

Hi Prasant,

I am facing the same issue. Did you get this solved? It is working for SMHF (standard) but not working for ZMHF. It is not working when we create ZMHF from ZMCR and it is not working when we create ZMHF directly.

Appreciate if you can tell me how it was solved.

Hi Lelieveld ,

It seems to be an authorization issue , check the role for the user trying to do the action - it would have been authorized for the transaction type SMHF , but not ZMHF . There is an authorization object , in which you must add all your custom transaction types .

Let me know if this helps .
