Create customer

Hi,

Have set up below sales areas.

But could not create customer for any of the sales area.

please help us.

Hi Krishnan,

Make sure you are not using common division functionality in SPRO - SD - MASTER DATA - COMMON DIVISIONS.

Maintain common distribution channel & common division using transaction codes VOR1 & VOR2

Dear,

This Error doesnt get / comes  by Sales area fault and also VOR1 & VOR2 .System is clearly saying Sales Area is not defined for customers .

1.How system knows ,more than one customer you having ? 

2. Did you really create Account Group with Sold Party why because there your screen shot is showing like 0001 Sold Party 0001 why you maintained again 0001 over there .

3. Did you maintain any Reference Customer and Details for creating this ?

These sales areas are newly created.

1.How system knows ,more than one customer you having ? 

- This is the first customer. we are creating.

2. Did you really create Account Group with Sold Party why because there your screen shot is showing like 0001 Sold Party 0001 why you maintained again 0001 over there .

- We could not create customer not only with account group Sold Party 0001 and have tried with other account group also and but we could not create customer.

3. Did you maintain any Reference Customer and Details for creating this ?

No reference.

Also, if press "All Sales Areas".

There is no distribution channel & division. But, in OVXGN (Setup Sales Area- Screen / plz refer previous screen shots) it is there.

I got it as others said ,Please maintain VOR1 and VOR2 transactions and do once again .Please let me know result .System is also clerly showing as no DS and DV over there .

Dear,

Please maintain common Distribution Channel using VOR1& VOR2 to set the Divisions. Also dont forget to check the assignment in OVXG based on Division and Distribution channel with respect to Sales Organization. Thanks.

Tell me is it Message no. F2644. Is yes then Go to SE11 give table name TVTA and give your sale area in respective top three fields and check is this Sale area exist in this table or not? Check and update here.

From table TVTA. There is no ref. dist chan & ref.div.

However, have maintain the same in VOR1 & VOR2

Hi,

have removed and assigned once again in VOR1 7 VOR2.

Now,TVTA shows.

Now able to create customer, in sales area (9001 / PD / P2) and not able to create in other sales areas.

This is happening, because have used PD & P2 as ref.dis.cha & ref.div in VOR1 & VOR2.

Also. we can extend the same customer which have created in sales area (9001 / PD / P2) to other sales areas also.

Please correct if am wrong.

Dear,

This means first ,you have to maintain Setup Sales Area in IMG then only maintain this assignment in Sales and Distribution ( VOR1 and VOR2 ).
