Spooler Communication Error

Dear All,

We are on SRM 7.01 and when we try to post confirmation for services the same is not getting posted to backend and we get the below error in RZ20

"Spooler Communication Error"

However, we are able to post the confirmation for material PO.

Please advise.

Hi Jay,

Did you observer this for all service confirmations ?

Have check whether the IDOC is created in SRM or not ?

If it is created in SRM did it reached to ECC ?

If it is reached to ECC what is the IDOC error?

Please provide more details, also if it is available in ECC then try to re-process via WE19 and let us know the details.

Thanks a lot for the quick reply.

The issue is idoc is not getting generated for all the service items in SRM and so the same is not available in ECC as well.

Hello Jay,

put a break-point in SPOOL_ES_CREATE function module. This FM is called to transfer service entrysheet to backend.

Hello LAurent,

We tried debugging the FM but couldnt find anything.Any idea what can be the cause as only service conf are not getting posted.

Is it related to Spool_Objects job.

Also, I understand that for service confirmations Idoc will not be created it will be transferred to backedn via RFC.Please correct me.
