Hi,

    Web Dynpro ABAP Settings

1. Try to activate SICF services for WebDynpro ABAP. PLease follow below link.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/46/d28dfa34bb12bee10000000a1553f7/frameset.htm

2. Add your server details in host file which resides on your local computer.

        C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

    Adobe Forms

   1. Check ADS connection by using standar program FP_PDF_TEST_00.

Thanks Prakash,

its very kind of you for such a quick reply.

point to be noted is that i said that i have just begun with adobe forms and web dynpro.

i dont know what is ADS.

I have executed the Program FP_PDF_TEST_00.

The Information pop up appears.

See Screenshot.

what is AS ABAP.

how to install this??

Also i have checked the HOST File in my local computer.

I have opened the file in notepad.

i seems that everthing lines in the notepad has been comments.

i have no idea why is that so.

I am sending you the hosts file contents,

could you please tell me where to add server details and how.

# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.

#

# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each

# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should

# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.

# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one

# space.

#

# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual

# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.

#

# For example:

#

#      102.54.94.97     rhino.acme.com          # source server

#       38.25.63.10     x.acme.com              # x client host

# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.

#          127.0.0.1       localhost

#          ::1             localhost

Hi,

go to run in your system and type as C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc.Here u will find the host file then open it in text file mode. Now go to saplogon pad select the server u want to use, right click on it select properties u will find ur application server no like 10.6.20.10 copy that no and paste in the host file and give tab space and enter the application server path, then save it.

You can find the layout of your view properly.

#       38.25.63.10     x.acme.com              # x client host

my application server path is -->

Hi ,

Create one web application. IN the web application u will find the url like http://yhsapx09.yyyysap.com:8003/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/yh2592_supply_function

in that  copy yhsapx09.yyyysap.com

this part  and save it in the host file along with application server no.

Try to enter your SAP User ID and Password.

To get the IP address and HOST NAME of your server execute SM51.

Get the IP and HOST NAME add them in your host file with tab space.

Hello Abhishek ,

Am also trying to configure Webdynpro on my own in my system . But failed to do so .

Maintained IPs in host.txt file (i.e in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts ).

But no result.

The above hosts IP setting is very important.

And I hope your thread will be helpful for me.

And one more thing for basics of Webdynpro NET310 document is very helpful , if you haven't gone through the same.
