MESSAGE_TYPE_X (Access sequence A not possible)

Hello!

Please help solve the problem. My system is IDES 6.0 EHP4. I have a dump:

Runtime Errors         MESSAGE_TYPE_X
Short text
     The current application triggered a termination with a short dump.

What happened?
     The current application program detected a situation which really should not occur. Therefore, a termination with a short dump was triggered on purpose by the key word MESSAGE (type X).

What can you do?
     Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.

     To process the problem further, contact you SAP system administrator.

     Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look at and manage termination messages, and you can also keep them for a long time.

     Access sequence A not possible (access sequence PRHI, access 10, field KONDM)

     Long text of error message:
      Diagnosis
          Access type A (hierarchical access) does not exist.
          This error was triggered by access sequence PRHI, access number 10,
          field KONDM.

Information on where terminated
    Termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLV61Z" - in "T682Z_SELECT".
    The main program was "SAPMV45A ".

    In the source code you have the termination point in line 1151
    of the (Include) program "LV61ZU01".

I am a SAP system adminitrator.

I read the note 1600482, but did not understand what I need to do.

I installed SPS11, but the problem has not disappeared.

Please tell me step by step where I go and what to do to solve this problem.

Below is an extract from SAP ntoe 1600482.

If you are not sure whether or not you are using this specific functionality, we strongly recommend that you run the check report included in the related SAP Notes 1600090 and 1601021 before you install a Support Package as listed above.  The check reports allow you to easily check whether this specific pricing functionality is being used in your system(s).
If you are not using hierarchical access functionality in pricing or pricing-related functionalities and are not planning to use it, no further action beyond the application of these notes is necessary, as application of these SAP Notes will not affect your use of the SAP solution.

What it meant was , you need to execute the report mentioned in the SAP notes 1600090 and 1601021 to identify whether you are using hierarchical acces feature in pricing or not.

This and the related SAP Notes disable the hierarchical access feature (access type = "A") in pricing and pricing-related functionalities, including general pricing, rebate calculation, free goods, tax determination, campaign determination, product determination, product substitution, generic "data determination," GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) mapping, and commodity pricing.

This is mostly functional configuration. As a technical admin guy you may not be able to resolve the issue alone. You need to seek help of SD consultant pertaining to configuration on this.

Additionally refer the attachment notes_disablement.pdf which comes along with SAP note 1600482 along with SD consultant.

Hi

i know this trade is old, but i put comments for future reference....

i had same issue in IDES. it is related to sales pricing of material hierarchy. the error is for access sequence PRHI which is assigned to K148 condition type. you can remove K148 from related pricing procedure or remove PRHI access sequence from K148 condition type. so the issue will be resolved.

if you need to work with this access sequence, you can define your own condition table.
