Dear Alex,
Kindly check the schedule line category determined in the quotation ,if it has the "Availability Check " button switched off .You can kindly check under "Define Schedule Line Category".

Dear Alex,
Ideally a Quotation does not generate requirement/demand where as a Sales Order does followed by ATP call. In SAP, Quote still goes for ATP ,but it does not transfer the requirement further like Sales order. Whether a Sales document should call ATP and transfer the requirement can be controlled via Schedule line category configuration.Kindly let me know if you require any further information.
