Problem with entering WBS element in contract

HI,

I am creating value contract with periodic billing plan, while crating contract i am unable to enter WBS element in the line item assignment tab, if i am removing plant in shipping tab system is allowing to give WBS element, but plant is mandatory in my contract because with out plant i cant select taxes. please advise me how to go ahead.

What SAP version you are working with? If the version is 4.6C and below, you may take a look at OSS Note 209393 - Value contract deliv schedule d.n. copy WBS element
