Hi
When trying to access the verification link for the access freamwork on my server – http://host:port/XIAxisAdapter/MessageServlet I get the following message:
Error: Application stopped.
You have requested an application that is currently stopped
The link in the message to the troubleshooting guide does not lead anywhere. Any idea what needs to be done to start the service ?

Thanks for the response guys .. I had seen this SAP Note but there were no specifics relating to this error message ... any other suggestions ? ...
Can you cross check your configuration once, you may refer below link for the same..
Configuring the Sender Axis SOAP Adapter
Also look at module configuration & processing sequence, it may help you.
Kindly update the Version & SP of your SAP PI system.
