Changing a Central Contract in SAP SRM

Dear All,

I have a central contract and the same is distributed to SAP ECC.

Please let me know the answers to below queries:

1) If I change the central contract how the changes will be reflected in ECC

2) While am changing the central contract in SRM, will the buyers be able to use the contract in ECC

3) How the various status of central contract like locked, renewal etc are transferred to backend

Hi Jay,

Any changes made to central contract at Header / Item level, in case if the contract is not restricted only for local purachasing all changes will be replicated back to ECC once the chnages got approved.

Any release values against a PO in ECC will be updated back to SRM.

In case if your contract is expired due to value / validity period and when you amend the contract, first it will go for approval and the changes will be transmitted to bancked ECC once the contract is approved.
