How to create XSD and wsdl

Hi,

Can anybody tell me how can we create XSD and WSDl and export it to XI.

For eg if we want to make the XSD for transaction 856 version 4010, how can we make...Is there any specific tool for that....if Yes wat is that....

Currently we r using tool provided by seeburger but i wan to know is there any other tool and one more thing can we make it without using any tool....

Hi Hermant,

you might be able to find a lot of tools that allow you create an xsd, but none, that will already give you the logic of the EDI document, like the 856.

The EDI Structure is so complex that you should not just start using any tool and try to do it manually, you'll never get it done right.

you can use Altova XMLSPY tool or anyanother tool for which helpin creating XSD and WSDL.

we can make using any tools also but we needthe write the XSD prog by lloking at the input which requires very sound skills in XML .

we can create a XSD or WSDL from XML .

to import into XI slecet external defination option in XI andimport it.

Hi,

Yes we have so man tools to create the XSD and WSDL, but through XI also we can create the XSD and WSDL.

Tools :

Altova XML SPY /ALTOVA XML Map forces.

Using Xi ,

first you need to create the data type and message type and click on XSD tab in right side you can get XSD format , click on Export to export to a file

Similarly , click on WSDL .. from there you can export the WSDL.

Also we have an option from tools in XI , generate the WSDL option..

you can...but you need to know XSD syntax and what all is supported by XI when it comes to XSD in minute details....
