Database Extractor Setup ended with error in Managed system Setup

Hi,

We have Solution Manager 7.1 installed with DB2 10.1. I'm running Managed System setup and in  the 8th step 'Configure Automatically' and sub step 'Database extractor setup'.

This step is throwing an exception. I have tried to run it several times but same result.

When I'm running this step, at the sametime in SM21, I can see several DB2 related errors.

Help me in resolving this error.

Hi,

chk the SAP note 1268652 - error: SQL0420N Invalid character found in a character string argument of the function "DECIMAL". SQLSTATE=22018

if both issue same, please update your DB to 12.1 as stated.

Can you provide more information, what version is your SolMan on for example?

Have you checked for relevant SAP notes?

Have you checked ST22? The error msg sounds like a shortdump that takes place.

If none of the relevant SAP notes match the issue, you'll most likely have to open a customer message to get a fix created for this.
