Hi EWM Gurus,
We have set up bulk storage for our finished goods products where we are storing all products on full pallet basis only, once produced from production facility. Now we have two storage types for picking, i.e. finished goods with bulk indicator and manual picking for partial pallets. I am trying to set up a picking strategy without using any exit, where system will pick full pallets from finished goods and partial pallets from manual picking area. but because of some restrictions on bulk storage type like partial quantity allowed/not allowed, system is not picking correct storage bins.
e.g. when I have full pallets of 300 cases, and I m picking 450 cases (i.e. 1 & half pallet) for outbound delivery. I have 2 pallets of 300 each in finished goods and partial pallet of 150 in manual picking area, when I enable partial pick allowed in bulk, system pick 450 directly from finished good (bulk) storage type. and if I deactivate partial check then it only picks 150 from manual picking area (not bulk) and gives me warning that partial picking is not allowed in bulk.
I tried with WOCR for full pallet removal but still it is not working. Please suggest how can I set up removal strategy in EWM for this scenario.
Thanks in advance,
Hi,
I would think this should work when searching in the bulk storage type area first with no partial pallet allowed and have the other storage type next in the sequence? But maybe it helps to have a
strategy "Stock Removal Suggestion According to Quantity " set up (see here http://help.sap.com/saphelp_ewm900/helpdata/en/0f/c49341ec74ac5fe10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm)
Best regards
Juergen
