Sap Background Job Status not getting changed

Hello,

I am using SAP BW system and scheduled background jobs. One particular job got released and status is Ready  only always and not getting changed into Active and not working.

Could you please help me?

Hello Sankar G,

First of all check these SAP notes:

  930567 - Overview: Jobs remain in status "ready" for a long time

  785239 - Job remains in 'Ready' status: Message Q0J, Q0G in Syslog.

1724201 - Background jobs remain in the status "ready"

  636854 - Jobs remain in the 'Ready' status for a long time

  739968 - Jobs hang in status 'released' or 'ready'

1057255 - Jobs remain in status 'ready'
