How to RRI jump from BW to ECC with SSO in analysis?

Hi All,

I'm testing BW Bex RRI jump from BW to a ECC report using Analysis for Office, but it opens up a web page from ECC but SSO is not working. If I type ID and password then it's working. Does anyone know how to set SSO available for Analysis for Office when using BW Query RRI?

- Login to NW BW using SSO(AD) successful

- AO Version: Analysis for Office 1.3 SP6

- OS: Window 7

- BW Version: 7.3 patch 5

Thanks,

Seungkwon Hong

Hi Seungkwon,

Please check with your BASIS team if there's a trust relationship between your BW and ECC systems.

Hi Emmanuel,

SMT1 & SMT2 are set correct. RRI works for BEx. We have the complication where the ECC URL is behind a web dispatcher and users an alias URL. Firstly RRI calls the incorrect url https://<host>:<port>/ instead of https://<aliasURL>/.

We can trick SAP by first logging into the portal and connected via ESS to the ECC backend to create the SSO ticket in the browser. Then when RRI launches from AO we change the URL from https://<host>:<port>/ to https://<aliasURL>/.

However this is not an option for end users.

I have added the entries in relevent tables as per OSS note 771351 but this does not generate the correct URL. I have not configured HTTPURLLOC as per 805344

Any suggestions?

Hello Vaughan,

most likely the web dispatcher and the URL alias is the issue here.

You are using logon tokens and when there is a switch of domains, then the token will expire
