Hi Cesar,

It could be due to memory issue during the time of crash.

Check the  Windows Event log for the time the Oracle service has crashed. You can post it here too.

Hi Cesar,

In Event viewer, hope you have checked both the 'System' and "Application' logs.

In past we had similar issue where we had created a simple batch script to keep log of CPU and Memory usage and scheduled it to run every few mins. Analyzing these logs we found the reason to be high CPU usage ( 100 % ) caused by a middle-ware application which in turn caused  the Oracle services to go down.

May be you can do activate similar monitoring for your system and analyze.

Hope it helps.

Mudasir.

Hi Cesar ,

Can you please attach the last 1000 lines of your alert_SID.log file?

Usually the reason for oracle crash is updated in the log file.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Deepak, i'm looking for any error message about Oracle Service and i don't find anything, i'm only find messages like this:

Audit trail: LENGTH : '152' ACTION :[7] 'CONNECT' DATABASE USER:[1] '/' PRIVILEGE :[6] 'SYSDBA' CLIENT USER:[19] 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM' CLIENT TERMINAL:[7] 'GVIZEPP' STATUS:[1] '0' .

Hi Cesar,

It is normal to not find an error on "alert_<DBSID>.log" file, because of this is a Windows service related issue. Check the "oradim.log"

Thu Nov 08 11:03:56 2012

ORA-01012: not logged on

is from November 2012, and the problem is from February 2013.

Hi Cesar,

Did you applied the latest Oracle patch? If not, I suggest you apply the latest one.

Hi Cesar,

You need to investigate this further. A good start would be a hardware check.
Aren't there any Oracle trace files related?

This might be an issue for a message as well.

Hi Thiago, i don't see this problem like a hardware error because i have ECC and BW to and like 3 months ago i had the same problem on non-prod instances of this, so we are talking about 3 different servers but, with the same BD and SO version.

thanks for your recommendation and i'll ask to my support server team for any issue can be happen.

do you have another idea?

Regards.
