Beginners help required SRM 7.01. OCI Punchout testing.

Hi,

I've signed up for SAP RAC for some remote SAP testing, installed the local software (SAPRouter & SPAGUI for windows)

I can connect to SRM 7.0, and see menus for Master Data & Tools.

Now I'm stuck. It looks to me, that when I login using the SAP Logon 730 application, that what I am seeing is Admin features, rather than the actual software.

What I need to be able to do is set up a supplier for OCI punchout, however, I've not been able to find anything useful for this.

After creating this supplier, I need to be able to order parts from the supplier website (SAP compliant shopping cart).

Could someone please point me in the right direction here please.

Many thanks

Edward.

Hi Edward,

Could you please provide a couple of screenshots of what you are seeing. Do you have the SPRO access and to the SRM portal?

Hi Edward,

Please go through the below link for OCI 4.0 and )CI 5.0 Specifications

http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/e020a283-e6ce-2d10-0ebb-bd4de8c32...

OCI-5.0 Specifications

How are you getting the vendors into the system?

What technical scenario are you using?

For creating a Vendor in the SRM then do the below:

1. Go to Strategic Purchaser menu

2. From there click on Purchasing and

3. Create Supplier > Input all the necessary data including the P.Org

Regarding setting up the supplier for Punch-Out you need to do the below steps:

1. You need to Define the web-services (Existing Catalog)for the Vendor.

2. Define the OCI parameters.

3. Define the Product Category mapping (if the product category maintained in SRM is different from that of the Supplier catalog)

4. Call the catalog in the Users attributes.

This way you should be able to define the catalog for the Vendors.

Hello,

I need to develop a solution for our web shop that let our customer use SAP punch out OCI and purchase from our web shop with that. But I do not know how can i test our code. IS there any "Testing SRM instance" available that let us call from it to our punch out method? Please explain.

A thousand thanks,

kevin
