Billing with labor, material and equipments

Hi,

I am trying to map scenario of billing a customer for our labor, materials (e.g sand ,checmicals etc used in the service) and also our equipment used in customers place. Also  I get to know that bills for labor can be raised after capturing labor hours through CATS or through direct activity input KB21n.

But how do I map materials used in projects? Do I need to create activity types like SAND, Chemicals etc. How will be the material flow till creating the billing request.

Even equipments how do I map its usage. One thing that I learned from other discussions is I can treat Equipments as Work Centers which will carry Activity Types and then by confirming activities we can capture cost.

     You can use Resource Related Billing (RRB) for labours and materials used project. For more information refer SAP help.

Regarding the equipment usage, you will need to use Customer Service module integration with Project Systems.
