Enhancing SAP standard Enerprise Services without a PI instance?

Hi

How can I enhance SAP standard Enterprise Services without a PI instance?

I am kind of familiar with the way if there is a PI system, but my new company has decided to use 3rd party middleware...

There is still chance for a CE Portal. Is the SLD and the ESR in the CE Portal sufficient enough for modifying the standard services?

There is no difference between ESR of PI and CE. You can deploy the SWCVs of SAP standard enterprise services. IMHO the software version of ESR ist more important,
